Create decorative surface embellishments that look and feel like chenille-type textures. This is the perfect foot to easily create loops, fringe, and heirloom fagoting. It can create 3-D loops and fringes with a single zigzag stitch, this foot can even be used for making accurate pattern markings.

Set your sewing machine in the same manner as you would for fagoting reducing the needle tension. Fold under the edge to be fringed and press. Using a scrap of fabric, press under an edge equal in length to the edge to be fringed. Butt the edges together and center them under the fringe/looping foot.
