Description
Kelsey is a baby unicorn looking for hugs. She works great for keepsakes(memory toys) made from baby clothes but you can use ANY fabrics for your memory toy. Her removable tutu, and luxurious mane and tail allow for customization and dress-up fun. Jointing instructions, tutu, and felt head decorations are included in the pattern.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
If you use interfacing to line fabrics that are thin and very stretchy you can use any type of fabric to sew your keepsake, in fact, mixing and matching different types of fabrics makes the memory toy look awesome! Use a thin fabric, like the knit from baby clothing, for the MANE and TAIL and do NOT interface these pieces.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Main Fabric – 38cm x 110cm wide / 15 x 43inches wide.
- Contrast Fabric – 33cm x 55cm wide / 13 x 21½inches wide.
- 4 buttons (for arms & leg joints) – about 2½ cm/1 inch.
- Strong thread for button-jointing.
- Craft Eyes (or buttons from garments) – about 12mm/ ½inch.
- Ribbon for tutu – 90cm / 37inches
- Tulle(netting) for tutu – 45cm x 240cm / 18 x 95inches wide.
- Felt scraps for flowers/stars on head.
