SewFine Ultra T High Performance Baby Lock Serger Foot
The SewFine Ultra T High Performance Serger Foot is designed for Baby Lock 8-thread and cover stitch machines. This foot is made of a more durable synthetic resin than typical non-stick feet. Its resistant to the scarring produced by the feed system yet virtually reduces any friction between the presser foot and the top layer of fabric. This provides a smoother flow of the fabric while sewing greatly improving stitch quality and fabric control. This foot will work with the Baby Lock Triumph, Accolade, Splendor, Evolution and Evolve 8-thread models as well as the Baby Lock Euphoria, Applaud, Cover Stitch 2 machines.
Key Features of the Ultra
When using the standard foot while stitching, especially with the chain or cover stitch needles being used, a serger or cover stitch machine creates friction between the top layer and the pressure foot. This causes slippage in all directions resulting in uneven seams and puckering.
Taking a shear stretch knit and stitching with a 3-needle coverhem stitch, you can clearly see puckering when using the standard foot compared to the Ultra T foot. No adjustments, other than changing the foot was done doing this comparison. The results are undeniable the Ultra T foot gives you better results!
